Apres avoir reinstaller pour la n-ieme fois le pilote, je me retrouve avec encore une fois un ecran noir qui se met en veille et mon xorg.0.log me dit :

J'ai essayé de desactiver dri dans xorg.conf mais sans succes

Je vais essayer d'installer les pilotes avec la méthode 1 : les paquets précompilés.

personnellement, j'utilise aussi la méthode du .run parce que la première fois que je l'ai essayé, elle a marché, mais par contre pour les derniers drivers, ça ne marchait pas, j'ai été obligé de réinstaller les avant derniers drivers, et la plus de pbm!!! a part que j'ai du faire un "modprobe fglrx" et remettre fglrx dans la section driver, mais après un reboot tout fonctionnait. Il faut pas oublier de faire un "aticonfig --initial"...
et de faire un /usr/share/fglrx/fglrx-uninstall.sh avant de réessayer de réinstaller les drivers qqsoit la méthode.

ma carte graphique sur mon pc fixe est une ATI radeon® x800 pro, et sur mon portable une ATI Mobility® [M10] 9700.
quant aux avant derniers drivers, je les ai mis la
voila! tiens moi au courant!!
ps : n'oublie pas, si jamais fait ça en mode console, puis a la fin, fait un aticonfig --initial.

Oui j'ai tout téléchargé, puis désinstallé et réinstallé plusieurs fois. Mais j'ai toujours le même problème.
