Bonjour,

Je suis l'heureuse propriétaire d'un NUC why!. Malheureusement le WiFi décroche régulièrement après quelques minutes d'utilisation. Ou parfois plus. Impossible de le relancer en décocher et cochant à nouveau "Activer le réseau Wi-Fi" et il faut redémarrer la machine.

Lorsqu'il fonctionne bien, on mesure (Moniteur système) 2-2,5 Mio/s de débit entrant, ce qui me semble convenable.

Je précise encore que le routeur et le FAI (Swisscom) ne sont pas en cause puisque les autres appareils de la maison fonctionnent. En outre, le problème s'est aussi présenté sur le routeur des bureaux de why!...

Le chipset WiFi est un Intel Centrino 6235. Je crois que le problème n'est pas hardware. Merci pour les conseils.

La commande "echo..." n'a pas fonctionné. J'ai donc procédé en modifiant le fichier avec gedit:

sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf

puis j'ai remplacé:
remove iwlwifi \
(/sbin/lsmod | grep -o -e ^iwlmvm -e ^iwldvm -e ^iwlwifi | xargs /sbin/rmmod) \
&& /sbin/modprobe -r mac80211

par:
options iwlwifi bt_coex_active=0 swcrypto=1 11n_disable=8

avant de sauvegarder et de redémarrer le système pour que ces nouveaux paramètres soient pris en compte.

Reste plus qu'à brûler un cierge en espérant le miracle...

J'ai finalement remplacé le chipset wifi Centrino 6235 par un "bon vieux" N135 et testé durant une heure. Le surlendemain, le WiFi a frisé 3 fois en trois heures. Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée sur la base du résultat de sudo dmesg | grep wifi (voir post #2 ci-dessus)?

Merci pour la patience dont vous faites preuve. On va mettre le SSD et le chipset WiFi dans un NUC tout neuf pour voir si le problème vient du software ou d'un composant sur la carte-mère...

Curieusement, aucun autre client n'a rencontré ce problème jusqu'ici, ce qui pourrait exclure l'hypothèse d'un problème software...

Je crains le pire!...

Le SSD a été installé dans un NUC tout neuf et équipé du chipset WiFi d'origine (Intel Centrino 6235) et nous avons pu tester que la machine se connectait au routeur du bureau. Cependant, la machine supposée être défectueuse, avec la même version de Ubuntu 14.04, a fonctionné durant plus de 2 heures sans problème en streaming vidéo sur la RTS. Votre problème ne provenait donc ni du chipset WiFi, ni de la carte-mère et il est donc fort probable qu'il se reproduise à nouveau....

Merci à Why pour la recherche de solution et le remplacement du NUC du 26 ct, avec la remise en place du SSD.

Pour info, ce modèle là voit le réseau Wifi, se connecte dessus, puis est dans l'impossibilité de charger une page.
J'ai donc rétabli la connection filiaire.

C'est bien ce que je craignais: le problème est à l'évidence logiciel. Quand bien même les deux disques SSD sont équipés du même OS Ubuntu 14.04 et que les dernières mises à jour ont été faites...

Je suis volontiers à disposition pour sauvegarder toutes vos données (si pas déjà fait avec DéjàDup) et réinstaller un système "propre". En tous les cas, votre machine physique (sauf SSD) fonctionne à merveille chez nous...

C'est rageant, mais il sera probablement plus efficace de régler le problème ainsi que de continuer à sonder les abysses de la gestion des chipset WiFi Intel par Linux...
