Je m'acharne tout le temps depuis 2 semaines pour faire du streaming audio avec du mp3. Je suis sous FC5
Donc j'ai bien fais l'install de icecast2 et ices 0.4 enfin je pense.
J'ai créer une playlist et mon point de montage.
Cela ne marche toujours pas:

mais sans succès.

Par contre pour les vidéos genres 60M CA télécharge puis lis.
C long. Alors que pour le mp3 c'est direct.

Il me semble que Icecast ne fait pas de streaming video . Au moins avec Gnmp3d tu peux envoyerde la video.
Pour ce qui est du root, tu peux par exemple faire root=/data et dans data tu crées 2 liens symboliques videos, mp3 vers le bon chemin

Enfin comment redémarrer le serveur, je n'ai pas trouvé la commande.
gnump3d restart ne marche pas.
Toi aussi les vidéos cela met beaucou de temps a visualiser?

dans ta config:
root=/medias
Et surtout les droits sur /medias, /mp3, /videos doivent être lisible par gnump3d (possible qu'il faut changer en chown -R gnump3d tes_dossiers_partition_ou_fichier.
Bref, je ne suis pas chez moi, je ne peux pas trop être precis.
Le serveur démarre via /etc/init.d/gnump3d start (stop ou restart)
Ce que tu peux faire c'est lire le man gnump3d

Toi aussi pour les vidéos c'est très lent à démarrer (genre 2h pour un film)??
Et de temps en temps lorsque je lis mes mp3 j'ai le bufffer qui baisse et qui remonte donc des coupures dans la chanson.
